21. No, I don't believe so. |
|
I don't have a link handy, but I remember reading an article about Patricia Heaton -- who is a republican -- and how she was the only "conservative" on the set.

13. Saw an interesting poll during the election. |
|
Everybody Loves Raymond topped the list of shows that Republicans prefer to watch. It's definitely him. He has humor that can only appeal to Republicans.

It's supposed to be "edgy" because the family is so disfunctional and they yell at each other. But it's just another stupid ass sitcom about a typical family. I mean, there's only been about 12,657 of them. Plus, you get loudmouth unfunny Ray Romano to star and you've got a show that's a blight on the American cultural landscape.

18. Do you want to hear something real funny? |
|
The Parents Television Council (extremely rightwing religious group) named Everyone Loves Raymond to be the most family friendly show on TV.
The show is basically about a disfunctional family who screams at each other, insults each other and shows no respect for each other.
But it's a family friendly show to the rightwingnuts.
But then again, pornography and reality shows are real big in the Bible belt states.

23. It's all about sex... |
|
I can't think of any other show on TV where the main character has to constantly beg his wife for sex.
Remember, right-wing morality is all about sex, nothing else.
