Does anyone buy cassette tapes for music anymore? |
|
I haven't used cassettes in years, just wondering if anyone still does.

Sometimes I see a tape I like for 50-cents at the used book/music store. I'll probably keep buying them occasionally until the tape-deck starts eating them.

Yeah. Nobody sells cassette tape . . . however, I love vinyl records . . . all those *pops* and stuff. Geez. You can't beat it. Heh. And, oh, yeah, btw, it's got to be on a belt-driven turntable too. Naysayers need not respond.

CD stuff is two-dimensionsal crap. Vinyl and tapes have DEPTH man.
CD's are good coasters though.

17. These days it's easier to buy a CD player than a cassette player... |
|
Occassionally I'll remember some old cassette, and I won't be able to find it on CD, so I'll dig it out of my garage and make a CD and an MP3 out of it.
Mostly I used cassettes in my cars. Remember how awful it was whenever a car cassette player "ate" a tape? You'd push the eject putton, and there'd be that awful feeling as a string of tape came trailing out of the cassette like spaghetti...
