I miss my SPAM.
I used to get hundreds of SPAM messages. About a month ago I took two steps that got rid of 95% of the SPAM.

1) I switched to Thunderbird and learned how to teach the software to recognize SPAM.

2) I removed all the email links from my site, now if you click "Email Me" you get this page: http://www.brainshrub.com/emailbrainshrub.htm

I'm amazed how well this strategy works! My email is fun again. :)

On the other hand, I now realize that no-one real ever emails me anymore. It's like coming home and never seeing a message on your voice-mail. I miss the spam! At least when I got it I could pretend that people want to talk to me.

1. Good for you
I hate spam too. All spammers should be put into spammers jail where they should do nothing but receiving spam for 5 years each.

If that doesn't work we might hold them as terrorist for life. That might just work :)

On a more serious note 98% of my mail is spam. And I have spam filters too. I usually receive 100 spam mails a day and 1 or 2 non spam mails. Did I say I hate spammers?
