I think my neighbor is an alkie, but, it's no business of mine
He works for the local lumber yard delivering supplies, and several times a day he comes home for a few minutes, very strange. I just heard the truck pull up, he stays long enough to make a drink, snort a line or something then he's gone.
Like I say it's no business of mine it's kind of fun though guessing what he's doing over there.

11. Could be
I've got a friend that won't use a public bathroom. He'd rather go through the drama of nearly pissing himself than use a public bathroom.

5. Maybe he's letting a pet out or making a phone call
I have often run home to let the dogs out, then returned to work immediately.

7. Using the facilities
Some folks are very particular about their bathroom habits. Perhaps he doesn't want to be interupted or walked in on.

9. Alcoholics don't need to run home to have a drink
If that were what he was doing, he'd probably keep a bottle (or substance of his choice) in his truck.

I knew one guy who kept his bourbon in his hose. That way he could have a drink while he was mowing the lawn and his wife thought he was just having a drink of water from the hose pipe.

14. See that's the fun
what the fuck is he doing over there? the bathroom thing makes the most sense. He's been married to the same woman for over twenty years, and she runs a daycare out of their home.
Maybe he's popping in to see that she's not up to something, only they know.
