It's raining (on-and-off) here in Tucson, and we have some really beautiful skies. The clouds are skimming through the Catalinas, and it is gorgeous. I love rain here.

5. it was freezin' here for a couple weeks...now it's back to humid and yucky

....we even got a dustin' o'snow xmas eve eve....now it's gonna be in the 70's and rain for the next week! x(

Mom's complaining (she's calling me every night to chatter about her health issues since she figured out that since we're on the same cell network, in-network calls are free... *grits teeth* ) because she wanted to go up to Snowflake to see friends this week and work out a business plan so she can apply for an SBL and the snow's not going to let her go.

Enjoy it. We're looking to get little snow but a very cold spell.

my son went to NAU for 2 years while I was still living in Calif. He worked winters at SnoBowl as a ski instructor.

Now he's at Humboldt State on the No. Calif. coast and missing that white stuff that falls from the sky.

I lived in Snowflake for several years... I KNOW it snows in AZ. A lot. And most of the roads suck if you're trying to navigate them in an early 70s VW.
