Poll question: Actors Who Thought They Could Sing - Who Sucked The Most?
I know I'm missing some obvious ones, but these are the ones I can think of right now.

Add more. :)

1. WILLIAM SHATNER
The Stewie Griffin parody of that was the most brilliant moment on Family Guy that didn't involve a guy in a chicken suit getting beaten up

She packed my bags last night pre-flight
Zero hour nine a.m.
And I'm gonna be high as a kite by then
I miss the earth so much I miss my wife
It's lonely out in space
On such a timeless flight

And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no no no I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone

Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids
In fact it's cold as hell
And there's no one there to raise them if you did
And all this science I don't understand
It's just my job five days a week
A rocket man, a rocket man

And I think it's gonna be a long long time...

6. William Shatner hands down
for his horrible rendition of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" and one other that I have blissfully wiped from memory.

I had forgotten (thankfully) about "Lucy", until you mentioned it. Now, for MY revenge :):)...the other song was MacArthur's Park.

40. She is bad
I also think many of the pop singers are prettier than her.. Michelle Branch and Mandy Moore are quite pretty, among others.

As for worst actor turned singer? I think Maureen McCormick may beat JLH, even though I'd give JLH's CD a C- and I tend to like pop/rock.

He had a top ten hit in 1957 called, "Start Movin' (In My Direction)." An un-fucking-believably bad record! :hurts:

33. I once saw him onstage nekkid in a play!
Before he was murdered. It was about 20 years ago. But, he didn't sing. So, I don't know what I missed as far as his vocal qualities are concerned.

But, he was sure awfully cute, anyway!

11. I went with John Travolta.
I love a lot of his work but when he tried to transition into music and had a golden opportunity to rock ther world, he chose not to rock at all. Pablum without salt or sugar.

Edited on Mon Jan-03-05 10:11 PM by CBHagman
Which Cheryl Ladd sang, while tossing her blond mane from side to side, on some TV show of yesteryear. :puke:

By the way, one day a co-worker played the first "Golden Throats" CD (on Rhino Records). We were all laughing so hard we couldn't answer the phone, and one of the cashiers was completely doubled over. I thought she'd inflicted permanent damage. You've GOT to hear those CDs.

37. LOL, I've seen that before, but
it's just so hilarious. As much as it pains me to admit it, his voice actually isn't that terrible. I'm not saying it's great, but it could be worse. But those lyrics, that music, and the dancing, BWHAHAHAHAHA!
