"Lost and Found"?
Once, I found a wallet with a lot of money in it when I was a poor college student. But, I didn't keep it.
I "found" the owner on my own because there wasn't a "Lost and Found" department at the university in those days.
What about you? Have you ever turned something in or recovered something at a "Lost and Found"?
Tell us your story.
:D

1. I always try to find the owner if I find something, if possible |

Many times I've been given the wrong change when buying something and I've always called it to the clerk's attention.
I find that honesty is the best way to be and hope that others will be the same.
And believe it or not, I pick up dropped items in stores and put them back in their proper places. Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm nuts! But I tried to teach my students to pick up things even though they didn't drop them and I hope some of them are picking up things on the floors in stores as well and not stealing them!!!

I turned in a pretty necklace I found in the booth at a restaurant.
I also left a bag while shopping at Macy's the Monday after Thanksgiving. (It contained a box of dachshund themed Xmas cards, a book of "love coupons" from Urban Outfitters, a small box of "berry" ornaments from Smith and Hawkin and a book of cartoons - For Better or Worse). It was all reclaimed intact two days later at lost and found.
