Food poisoning really sucks |
|
I just had a giant piece of prime rib a few days ago, washed down with two giant mugs of amber ale. I know, what a glutton, my wife gave me hell, my excuse, I rarely eat beef, but this was a new years celebration.:toast:
The beef was good, except for a few gamey bites, which I ignorantly washed down in my drunken lust for the cow.
A few hours later, something was not quite right. Needless to say, I experienced volcanic activity from both polar regions for many hours. Nothing looks quite like half-digested beef.
My new years resolution, no more beef. At least for now. And absolutely never will I have prime rib. If you are in southern California, say in Agora, at a restaurant which offers barbecue, order the vegetable plate.:puke:

Food poisoning on a camping trip.
"Hey, it's early evening, I've got the munchies and there just happens to be one more chicken leg left from lunch..."
Baaaaad idea.

2. Food Poisoning Takes 12-24 Hours |

It wasn't the beef. It was something you ate the previous night/day.
Unground beef is unlikely to be the source of food-bourne illness; chicken, ground beef, cold cuts (including deli meats) and fast food are the primary vectors for salmonella and campylobacter.

I call the Bochil-burgers. The damn things. About once every two years I decide that I REALLY WANT some bochil-burgers, and I end up swearing I will never have another one because the things are deadly. I think they were first used in bio-warfare experiments.

If it doesn't go away, better get a stool sample, you might have picked up some kind of bacteria.
