1. I heard that this morning and thought it was great
especially how the bound showed how they each add to the final product. Wonderful indeed.

2. I liked the bit about her being a perfectionist
When asked, she wouldn't admit to it. But all the other band members kept chiming in how she was one.

3. Alison rules, but Jerry Douglas ROCKS!

Jerry is the one of the finest acoustic musicians in the world. Any chance you can, go see him.

12. my friend is best-friends with Jerry D. Whenever he's up our way, we
always get to hang out backstage...once he even asked us if we wanna go on the bus for a couple days. I can't ever go.

16. oh no shit? I'm at 2K? wow, thanks. I used to work in Wheeling WV
(although I don't usually admit that) at a music store right next door to Capitol Music Hall-home of Jamboree USA. I've met so many stars I lost count. My best, foggiest memory, is spending a little time with Willy Nelson, and his band.

4. She & her band are one of the
very few reasons I haven't completely given up on country music.

6. I differentiate between country and bluegrass...
...so I have given up on country music (anything after Patsy Kline and Hank Williams)

7. Same here,
I love country up until the "Nashville Sound" era(isn't that the one where they start having all the violins/wall of sound stuff? that's the era I mean). Alison Krauss' "Two Highways" is what got me into blugrass, and now I love old bluegrass-one of my favorites is "Awful Dreadful Snake" by Bill Monroe-I like some other versions too. What other genre of music could come up with such a song?! And "Little Maggie". My mom has promised to take me,next time I visit her in Virginia,to hear some authentic live bluegrass in some old local general store in the mountains where the locals get together and play, she says they sound great.

15. Very nice. Much like their prior stuff, which is excellent.
I didn't detect that they had over-glamourised themselves on this CD.
