Woman Found Frozen Rodent Inside Christmas Turkey
Edited on Tue Jan-04-05 09:53 AM by matcom
<snip>

GRANBY - Valorie J. Macy remembers the exact moment on Christmas morning when she thought seriously about becoming a vegetarian.

She was at the kitchen sink, preparing to stuff the turkey, when she said she discovered an unexpected surprise in the bird's cavity.

"I wanted it to be the little giblet bag but it was definitely a frozen mouse or rat," she said last week.

Macy of 128 School St. had just removed the neck and giblets and was giving the bird a second rinse when a furry little rat or mouse plopped out into the sink.

"I looked away and looked back, hoping it would be gone," she said. "I wanted it to be some kind of hallucination." Macy said the black, big-eared rodent was about 6 or 7 inches long including tail, with a body of 3 to 4 inches.

7. you know little fried meeces were considered a delicacy
by the ancient Romans - a loverly appetizer.

Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside! Tastes like turkey.

10. Cats seem to like to eat them
My cat doesn't. Where I used to live, I got a couple of mice once the first year I had Miranda. She liked to torment them to death by holding their tails with one paw and batting them around with the other.

My friend's cat just bit off their heads and ate them, leaving the headless corpses for his people to clean up.

9. I like her attitude!
"She said it could have been worse. She imagined what would have happened if the rodent was found later, say after the turkey was cooked."

:D

18. Immaculate Conception, because Phill Gramm says the meat packing
industry is flawless by its very nature.

So that rules out human intervention.
