Just can't believe our weather |
|
It rained all day yesterday, so far all day today and it is 48 degrees at Sky Harbor airport. We had more rain within the last couple of weeks then in the last two years. I'm not complaining we have been in a drought for too long. The upside? Yes, there is one, our desert should be in full bloom this spring. The downside is, we may be in for fires this summer because of the growth in the forests. I heard Flagstaff is getting a lot of snow, more snow then they received in several years, skiers must be happy!
Just looked at the window, the wind is beginning to get worse. Love it though, we have a real winter here.
I went to Target this morning, it is cold out there, wet and damp. I can't ever remember receiving so much rain. But, I have two very unhappy Cockerspaniels pouting, they do not like the rain. They hold it as long as they can. My one cocker sits in front of the patio door, when it stops raining she will bark to go outside. Smart dog for being a senior of almost 16 years!
Have a great day!

3. From what I remember about the Valley of the Sun |

Every time it rained, the local news stations would dedicate at least 20 minutes to weather coverage.

7. Don't watch much TV anymore |

but I just look out the window, know what the news is saying. KTAR radio usually gives a short weather synopsis.

5. You must be in Phoenix. |
|
I used to live there and now live in NC. Its 73 degrees right now. Very unusual. Looks like we swapped weather, at least for a few days. Normally we'd be in the 40s.

6. We're enjoying a heat wave here in Ohio |

Usually January is the coldest month of the year for us, but it's currently 43. This time last year we had single digit temperatures.
