Have you ever bought something for someone who was underage? |
|
I just have twice. I bought a Playboy for my 16 year old brother because he wanted to see the Survivor girls and a pack of cigarettes for my friend when I was just over 18 and he was just under 18 because I was going to the gas station anyway, so he could've probably bought them himself since he had so many times in the past. My brother probably could've bought the Playboy too if he wasn't too chicken and didn't believe me about Barnes and Nobel never carding.

I've let my 18 year old sister have a couple of drinks, but I also believe the drinking age should be 18 so I don't see anything wrong with that at all.

4. No, it's never come up! |
|
But when I was underage I used to sweet talk older guys into buying booze for me! HAHA! Then, of course, I'd split with my girl friends.

5. When I was younger (about 17) |
|
I bought condoms for a couple of girls I was friends with and even a guy friend once because they were too chicken. It's not really an underage thing, but the closest to it. I used to buy beer for myself and friends at the same age, but never bought any and given it to an underage person when I was legal. Then again, by the time I was 21, I didn't hang around anyone under 21 either.

took him out on the town. He was big, mature lookign, most places didn't card him, but if they did, I bought. Through some odd circumstances he wound up driving home. ON the way he ran a stop sign and got pulled over. The longest 1/2 hour of my life watching him go through the sobriety tests. He passed and we lived through it, but it really sucked. It was quite a while before we told his mother about it. I was horribly chagrined, then his father reminded me that when I was 14 (25 years earlier!) he got me drunk in Germany and I fell down a flight of steps in a castle. I had forgotten about it and felt somewhat better. 10 years later I still feel like a very bad uncle and thank my lucky stars that all turned out as it did.

10. I took underage friends out drinking |
|
But then again my older friends took me out drinking when I was underage. We're talking a few years difference in age
But it wasn't something like going into a store and buying someone something that wasn't legal for them to get.
