Does Rove control the weather?
It appears that I won't be flying out tomorrow from Iowa to DC. :(

Our state is under a major winter storm warning. This is a huge, dangerous storm--massive ice storm and major snowfall amounts. I live in the part of the state which is supposed to get more than one foot of snow.

The storm begins tonight and the warning is in effect until Thursday.

I just called the airport and the airline. I was told that if the weather reports come to fruition, it is almost certain that all flights will be grounded. Their airline said they are telling people to expect cancellations and to call the airport before leaving home.

Bummed. I even bought an orange scarf.

/self-pity mode off.

into wine? Part sea waters? Oh yeah, and their new godly trick is flipping Kerry votes to Chimpy. Miraculous, isn't it.

We had a late Christmas party. 18 people and 3 dogs were iced into a 5 bedroom house for 2 days, before a grater came through...we had to ration toilet paper and milk...good times, good times. I've never seen anything like it in my life. The roads were like ice rinks. We eventually got desperate and tried to drive out...lets just say we need a tow truck.

5. I think there would be a lot more people coming out if it weren't January
Heck, if it was summer I'd drive to DC from WI. But the bad weather introduces a lot of variables. 50 people showing up in winter is equivalent to 500 in summer, I'd say.

6. This is one tinfoil hat theory I don't subscribe to.

Unless you factor in the damage the Republican parties environmental policies have created. They have led the charge to pollute the environment and create weather problems like what we are seeing now. I guess in that sense Rove controls the weather.
