Poll question: Do you have fresh fruit in your house?
We always have 3 or 4 kinds, because we tend to snack a lot.

:)

7. Yes, we have clementines, apples, regular oranges, and grapefruit.
Is that three or four? Do I count the clementines and regular oranges as one kind?

In the summer, we always have lots of strawberries, blueberries, peaches, and melon.

19. There's never a day you can't find some form of fresh fruit in this house.
Today menu is Apples, pears, oranges and grapes. I'm always have melons in the summer since I grow my own. A homegrown cantaloupe or honeydew is 1000 times sweeter then the ones you get at the market.

33. flu like symptoms -- killer stomach craps & vomiting
It is strange that "good food" can kill me.

It is estimated that 1 in 10,000 have this genetic disease -- it is generally missed by doctors.

34. I thought that happened
because I don't eat it often enough. They say you should add some of those foods to your diet if you're not used to them because you can experience those symptoms. But I'm sure you get them worse. I wish I had a reaction to sweets. I think if a DR. told me I had to stop eating sweets I still couldn't do it.

35. Sometimes your body is trying to tell you something
If eating the first fruit of the season always makes you ill -- then this may be a warning that your body can't tolerate certain food.

Mine is specific to fructose but not to sucrose.

Also carrots and tomatoes have natural fructose.

I put one fruit because I have a LOT of mandarin oranges from my tree but I forgot my neighbors also gave us some Meyer's Lemons. So I have two kinds of fruit.

29. Fresh fruit is too dangerous to have around children...
They might attack a friend with a bunch of loganberries or get it in their head to take a pomegranate to school. No way, fresh fruit is even more hazardous than pointed sticks.

31. I also have...
Peanut Butter Fudge and Fantasy Fudge. I made it today. I bought all the ingredients for Christmas and didn't have time to make it so used it all up today. I know fresh veggies are better for me, but the fudge turned out great...
