2. Good Luck! The wait was hell for me.

I ended up being accepted by two departments, and I think I made the right choice. It was the worst 4 months for me (up until this last October/November, of course).

One dept. had me on a wait list and didn't tell me until the week before graduate recruitment weekend and the other dept. had some "internal struggle" (as I've heard thirdhand) over what my package should be and who had first dibs on me as a research student. Again, I was in the dark on all of this. It was horrible. I hope things go smoothly for you and that graduate school turns out to be exactly what you want it to be.
