which was NOT about LSD but was about John Lennon's daughter and a picture she drew in school and brought home to show her father. He asked what it was and she said: Lucy in the sky with diamonds. I don't know if I agree that LSD was stupid to take but it sure expands your mind. And I never once wanted to fly or think that I was and orange.

3. Out of interest, has anyone else here read "2061: Odyssey 3"

by Arthur C Clarke? I think the way he references Lucy in the Sky with Diamands is brilliant.

I'm also becoming convinved that only Arthur and I have read "2061".
