Earworms
I have "Danke Schoen" stuck in my head.

Please...share with me what's stuck in YOUR head, so I can get rid of this one!

11. Over and over and over....
It just keeps repeating in my brain:

I recall Central Park in fall
How you tore your dress
I confess
That's not all...

6. I don't know the title
but it's the song linked below. It's a bonus for all you kitty lovers in the audience.

It's been stuck in my head since the weekend, when someone posted it in the Lounge.

Now, if one of you kind people would take it off of me, my kitties will thank you. I've been chasing them 'round the house, singing it.

8. Does your chewing gum lose its flavor
On the bedpost over night?
If your mother says don't chew it, do you swallow it in spite?
Can you catch it on your tonsils, can you heave it left and right?
Does your chewing gum lose its flavour on the bedpost overnight?

Lonnie Donegan...good song!!

12. I am going to bludgeon whoisalhedges with a shovel for this:
I was strolling through the park one night
And oh, I felt so blue
When I heard a little voice say
"I'm so lonely, too."

Then I turned around to look
And to my surprise
A little space girl sat there crying
Right before my eyes.

Stepping up a little closer
To see what I could see
She said, Mister Earthman,
Will you please marry me?

I said, Why, no, I couldn't do that
Why, that just wouldn't be right,
‘Cause you and me and me and you
We don't even look alike

‘Cause you've got four arms
The better to hold you
Three lips
The better to kiss you
Three eyes
All the better to see
I can really rock and swing
‘Cause I've got more of everything
Oh, Mister Earthman, will you marry me?

I said, What would people think
When we go strolling by
Why, they'd not only laugh at us
They'd lay right down and die

Then they'd put you and me in jail
There we would be
And the people, they'd come from miles around
Just to look at you and me.

‘Cause you've got four arms
The better to hold you
Three lips
The better to kiss you
Three eyes
All the better to see
I can really rock and swing
‘Cause I've got more of everything
Oh, Mister Earthman, will you marry me?

I said, This thing's gone far enough
I've had enough of this
She said, Please, Mister Earthman
Just one little kiss?

I said, Okay, okay, okay!
But then you go away
But when I finished kissing her
I had this to say

Oh, you've got four arms
The better to hold you
Three lips
The better to kiss you
Three eyes
All the better to see
I can really rock and swing
‘Cause I've got more of everything
Oh, Mister Earthman, will you marry me?

Why, sure!!

15. 'Nubs' by NoFX
"She's Nubs"

It's kinda hard to wear high heels, or slip on banana peels
How does she get in and out of tubs
I hope she dont get mad, I hope she thinks this song is good not bad
Cause we think that she's totally rad, she's nubs.

No fingers, no toes, she doesn't own elbows,
No phalanges no knobby knees to knock
She don't need knuckles or hands to go see punk rock bands
She's always in the stands, she's nubs
She can't pick up a phone, she can't get dressed alone
She's got no funny bone, she's nubs
No shoes for feet but we sure do think she's neat, she's nubs, she's nubs, she's nubs.

I asked her if she want a drink, I asked her if she liked Toronto,
I asked her to go out to the bar, but all she said was no thanks, no and no

It was time for us to leave, so I grabbed and shook her sleeve
and told her I'd see her at the next club she got into a pack
and some guy put her on his back, she said goodbye and kinda waved her stub

She's got beauitful eyes, and breasts regular size,
but without calves and thighs, she's nubs
It's hard to give good head or get tied to a bed,
when all you've got is a body and head, she's nubs

She's nubs, She's nubs, She's nubs...
Oh she may not walk the walk, and she may not like to talk
But boy she sure knows how to rock, she's nubs.

****************************************

Dammit, it's been in my head for a good two hours now...

18. I have had Tim McGraw's Live Like You were Dyin
stuck in my head lately. I don't know much of it so it's always the same verse.
The other night I couldn't sleep and it was playing in my head. Have you ever had that argument with it where you say to yourself...o.k shut up! STOP signing that! But it doesn't stop. WTF? What is the scientific reason why we have a part of our brains that will play a song literally against our will and there is nothing we can do about it?
Who invented that and for what purpose? I want answers!!

Meanwhile....

I was finally the husband
that most the time I wasn't
I became a friend
a friend would like to have
all of a sudden goin fishin
wasn't such an imposition
I went three times that year I lost my dad.

How's it hit ya when you get that kind of news?
I went skydivin
