The Marlins won the wild-card.
What better way to celebrate my 1000th post. Here's hoping the Marlins go on to crush SF in the playoffs. Hey, if the '97 series proved nothing else it's that miracles do happen! The Cubs, Marlins, and Red Sox are all going to the playoffs. That's a rush.
I'm getting drunk tonight. I have class tomorrow but I don't care. :)

Florida has a decent chance. You never can tell in a best-of-5 series. One pitcher gets hot and amazing things can happen.
The last time they played San Francisco, back a few months ago, they got beat 2 out of 3. The Giants deserve to be favored, but I'm picking Florida to win in 4 games.
I'm trying to go to one of the games. Sadly, the Friday game is at 4:00, so I may not be able to make it. Believe it or not, they sold out all the lower level seating. All that's left is upper deck seats at the Pro.
I'm pulling for a Braves/Marlins NLCS. It'll be like 1997, only with Atlanta emerging victorious.

but they're on the freakin' third base side, about a third of the way back. I'm going to have to skip my friday clases so that I can make it to the stadium on time, but it's worth it.

3. Club seats are the way to go |

It's nice being able to go inside for part of the game, especially during the day.
