12. Not All of Us
I live in crazy red f*cking JOklahoma. I despise the Sooners (the original historical Sooners not the university or its football team) and all they represent. I'm embarrased to live in a state that is proud of a heritage of greed and cheating to get an unfair advantage over others. I will probably always be happy to watch the OU teams get beaten - and beaten badly.

20. Not this Oklahoman either
hate that uo team with a passion. It's a requirement if you're an OSU fan :) Whatever were they thinking when they named their team after a bunch of cheating, lying, weasels. Dirt burglars, land thieves = sooners.

Way to go!
I heard one of the announcers talking about how some USC players thought that next year's team would be even better talent-wise. Scary thought.
But I'm glad for Pete Carroll (sp). He looks like a good coach and great human being.

8. w00t!!!
imagine how more dominant they could have been with Mike Williams on the roster. No doubt about this championship. No way that Auburn would want a piece of this team.

He was perfection, and only a sophomore! With Mike, who knows what would have happened, but it makes you wonder how it could be better after tonight's game!!!

11. And Helix HS's Reggie Bush is coming back next year.
He and QB Alex Smith (Utah), were HS teamates and will be #'s 1&2 for the Heisman running.

15. Alex Smith has already declared for the draft, I think
but Bush will definitely be a frontrunner.

25. Guess again!
There isn't a living soul in Auburn, at Auburn University, and least of all wearing the orange and blue jersey this season that wouldn't LOVE to get a piece of USC before the polls are closed on the 2004 season.

USC is so good it's scary. I would certainly consider Auburn the underdog if the two teams were actually slated to meet at this point. But no team has played with more heart and fewer errors than Auburn this year. The Sugar Bowl was one of their weakest games, and they still led 16-0 most of the game.

No one can tell me that tonight's score would have been the same had it been the Tigers facing off with the Trojans in the Orange Bowl. There is no way any team in the country could score 55 points on this AU defense.

Believe me, Auburn wants a shot at USC, no matter how good they were tonight or are overall. No matter what the headlines say, there are unanswered questions about who #1 really is this season around the Lovliest Village on the Plains!

that was an incredible performance tonight. I thought the Sooners would put up more fight, but USC played one of the best games I've ever watched. :toast:

I'm a BSU fan. It will be interesting to see the final AP Poll to be issued sometime tonight. (BSU has beat a PAC 10 Team).

USC played a near perfect game!

They don't have to share anything this year, either.

I'm a Penn State fan, but I'm here to give USC their due.

Oklahoma got beat this year as No. 2.

LSU was nowhere near a "contenda" this year. What's to combine?

28. Leinart and all of USC was VERY impressive-poor #23 for OU
They picked on him all game and he had a HORRIBLE game. As you watch the highlights see how many times you see #23 in white near the play but not making it.

The 35 yeard run by Bush-#23 was there but ran past the hole (left side)

The TE's spectacular catch (GREAT throw by Leinart too)-#23 was "covering"

The BOMB to #9-#23 failed to cover. That was in interesting sequence-OU's #44 went down with a bad left shoulder and they called timeout (official timeout) coming back from commercial USC converted on 3rd down and #24 knocked #9 out of bounds #24 looked to be holding his right shoulder but OU didn't call time. #24 half assed the blitz and #23 was no where near #9 TD!!!

The throw under the uprights-#23 was "covering" that too.

Great game by USC. The BONEHEADED play on the punt and Jason White's :wtf: throw didn't help (did he yell "punt" before he threw it?)

Congrats USC you were MAHVELOUS!!!!

31. brodney poole got schooled
he's #23, and he did have a horrible game. I think the guy covering the TE on that spectacular catch was actually #42, a linebacker (Rufus Alexander), but Poole was in (or rather, out of) a whole bunch of plays.

I think you are right about the TE play but Pool kept showing up on the screen so I started watching for him. Wow what a bad night.

33. The funny thing is
He had a pretty good year and there was much discussion that he might declare for the NFL draft after this year (he's a junior) and was considered one of the top juniors available.

After last night, I imagine he might reconsider the decision, as I'm sure his stock is bound to fall.
