The European Union today has three minutes of silence in remembrance of the Tsunami victims. All public life is coming to a standstill. Twelve noon is in one hour and two minutes.

I was picking up my daughter and she was anything but silent. There are black flags on a bunch of buildings. People are still in shock when they talk about it.
