Wanna hear a funny story? When I first partook to select an avatar, I almost selected the colored flag because it just looked, well, colorful and cheerful. I didn't know it meant being gay. I ended up choosing another one, but imagine my surprise one night when I discovered a solidarity thread in which some of our gay DU members were changing their avatars to the colored flag as a show of support. Oops! I had a good laugh at myself!
