...bring a camera into the shower area of your gym and take pictures of each persons method. Then post those pictures here. That wouldn't be crossing any lines would it?

9. no and I think they are kind of disgusting |
|
but I have learned over the years that many a hairy guy feels they need them and if that's what they feel they need for their hygiene ritual then that's fine. I just hate seeing a gross, soggy washcloth ANYWHERE. They need to use a fresh one every time.

that way, but there's nothing grosser than a smelly, baceteria-laden dishcloth. I wash all the dishcloths in bleach too.

like around 6" X 6" square, commonly used in the showers. In England when I was a kid and we didn't have indoor plumbing at grandmas she would give me a rough rubdown with a steaming hand towel.

15. I only use a washcloth... |
|
...when I shower at someone else's house. I started using a loofah and body wash a few years ago - it seems to be faster. Obviously, using someone else's loofah is crossing a boundary, so washcloths do the trick at hotels or a friend/family's house.

22. You NEED to use a washcloth, sponge, loofah or poof of some kind. |
|
Why? To exfoliate the dead skin from your bod. Not getting rid of the dead skin is one of the main reasons for back acne!

it is the common concensus that white people don't use washcloths! i have no use for them myself. they get stinky and my hand and soap get me just as clean. for exfoliating though, a nylon pouf works great.

32. That's what I was going to say |
|
As a white male, I typically don't use a washcloth. However, I will grab my wife's body-wash scrubby thingy and give myself the once- (or twice-) over.
And it's true what you say about white people not using washcloths. It must be a quirky cultural thing...
