That's where we are. With people that cower at war urging others on with a blind flag waving patriotism. Or leaders that are incompetent and always seek to shift the blame to others. Or disgustingly hypocritical in their own moral behavior. Fucking Ferret Face.

Please add your own examples..........

1. *THE* ulitmate Frank Burns/O'Reilly/Repub quote (how apt is this?)
The way I see it, unless we each conform, unless we obey orders, unless we follow our leaders blindly, there is no possible way we can remain free.

2. Frank Burns can be dealt with tho
Pierce etc were able to shame Frank into doing the right thing, and he did have a bit of a good heart deep down, and while Frank was stupid and mean-spirited to a point, he wasn't DIRT mean the way bushCartel and rethugs are and I don't think he was really cruel. More small-minded & petty than cruel.

I'd happily take a buncha Burns over the nasty and very cruel bastards we have.

3. Whew! If we're still emulating the MASH "Frank Burn's Model" as a country
We just may have a chance to reclaim our Democratic Republic.

I tend to see the glass half-empty with the feeling that our County is more attuned to the group(sheeple)-think philosophy of that portrayed by MASH's Paranoid CIA Officer Col. Flagg:

You're right despite the media functioning as merely the Executive Branch's stenographer, almost half the people of the USA did vote for Kerry. Maybe there's a chance for positive change. ;)
