Blair: curse of the Pink Panther strikes again?
Laughing nervously and over-exuberantly, his right eye puffed up and twitching, UK's premier Tony Blair gave a first class impersonation of the Pink Panther's Commissioner Dreyfuss yesterday morning on prime time breakfast television.

In a scene reminiscent of when Dreyfuss hears that Clouseau has just been reinstated in his job, and accidentaly cuts off his finger with the cigar trimmer, Blair looked dishevelled and rambled on as if high on amphetamines, telling anchorman David Frost that he had absolutely "nothing to apologise for".

As the British public bravely braces itself for Tony's big week when the Labour Party meets at its annual conference in Bournemouth, is a surprise appearance by Clouseau's sidekick Cato on the cards???????
