Have you ever had frostbite? |
|
I have - on my hip - I know, it's a weird location.

1. Both ears when I was in the military... |
|
There was a lot of that going around that week on base. The funny ones were the people who had frostbite in one ear and only that one was swollen.

When any of my finger tips turn white (and numb) it is time to go inside.

I was a smart ass but highly decorated (for Peace time). They couldn't argue with results.

14. NO no no I am no amateur |

You push them to a point...that REALLY pisses them off.
The worst trouble I almost got into was when I was dead tired (6 hours of sleep in a week-Sgt. hated me) and I was ordered to go to another guard duty. I told the Sgt. (I was steaming pissed) "Have a nice day" and everyone knew what I really meant by it. He tried to bust me for it but when he wrote up the report he was laughed out of the office.

7. Hurts like hell too....like a giant bruise or something. |
|
Although the worst pain is during the initial thaw as the frostbitten area warms.

The first ime yeah it was horrible (no where to go no heat in my Bradley) but now it is manageable.

And that was a dream - not real life.
Curious?

It was also accompanied by a 2nd degree sunburn. I just remember being in bed, wearing nothing but a sheet, my head pounding, feeling nauseous. It was awful.

I do not know if that was frostbite or not.
