Stern Yanked From 4 Radio Stations For Using The "S" Word (Satellite)
<snip>

Howard Stern says he's been pulled off four radio stations for using the "s" word.

The word is "satellite" -- as in satellite radio.

The shock-jock claims Citadel Broadcasting yanked him from stations in Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island because he was talking too much about his upcoming switch to Sirius

Satellite Radio.

An open letter posted on Stern's Web site says it's not clear if the decision is permanent.

Citadel is not commenting.

Stern will begin with Sirius in January 2006.
