|
Edited on Mon Sep-29-03 12:03 PM by underpants
Earthquake (and any resulting fire etc.) NOT COVERED (there are many fault lines here in Virginia)
War (declared or not declared) NOT COVERED
Civil unrest COVERED
So we've got that Valcano thing going for us.

1. How about flamewars? Are those covered? |
|
}(
And, what if it's civil unrest that escalates to civil war? I don't think they really thought this through.
Hehe....

Oh ... I thought you said Vulcano.
You know where Leonard Nimoy comes over to the house and insists on "giving you a back rub". That didn't seem very likely.
Now ... a Volcano ... in ... Virginia ... ugh ... that makes sense.
Kind of like flood insurance at the top of <insert you favorite mountain here>.

4. Electrical surge COVERED Floods NOT COVERED |
|
but there isn't much danger of that here. If the James rises up to us there will be more to worry about than just our stuff.

They sure cover their bases... NOT!
I don't think I could find a place farther away from an active Volcano than Virginia! Yellowstone, the Cascades, Iceland, and the Carribean are all at least 1000 miles away.
It's like paying someone to mow the lawn in January and shovel snow in June!

6. Now volcano insurance would make sense |
|
for people in Seattle and Portland, because both Mount Rainer and Mount Hood could blow at some time in the future.
But for Virginia it makes about as much sense as hurricane insurance for Minnesota or blizzard insurance in Hawaii.
