Old TV comedy shows you never found funny.
I never thought "Laugh-In" was funny. I didn't get the hype.

4. MASH
I was a kid in the 1970s and I always loved the opening credits, with the music and the helicopters coming in for a landing with the injured soldiers. I always felt it was misleading because I wanted to see an action war program.
I just never got the humor as a kid and never attempted to sit through it as an adult.

family actually love each other--the way they act is just an ethnic thing. Now, I'm not saying all Italian-American families act like this, but their interactions on this show are pretty familiar to many of us Italians. My family never acted like that, but I know others that were pretty similar.

here you had a high-powered, indepentent, ground-breaking woman - Lucille Ball - and what did she do? Played up every tired lameass stereotyping of women possible. :puke:

I would get so embarrassed for her and Ethel that I couldn't even watch it. I would cringe every time they did something "silly" and I was supposed to laugh.

24. Will & Grace
The first season or two was pretty funny, but it has taken a real nose dive since then. It "jumped the sharks" when they signed Harry Connick Jr. to play Grace's spouse. What an embarrassment! Oh, by the way, will Will and/or Jack ever have a continuous love interest? Doubtful.

29. "Good Times"
When I was a kid I actually thought this was funny but about a year ago there was a "Good Times" marathon on TV (on one of the UHF channels) and I sat through a few episodes. I was appalled. As an adult I have to say that not only is the show not funny but to call the damned thing "Good Times" is almost kind of cruel. The writers just heaped one misfortune after another on the family and if I remember correctly they even killed off the dad.
