Need a quote from the movie "Patton" |
|
When he was making his battle plans for the Battle of the Bulge.
Something like, "The German Army is demoralized and starving, and they haven't launched a winter offensive since Frederick the Great. That is exactly why I think they will do that."
Thanks in advance for the help!

1. I don;t think that was a direct quote, that was from the book |
|
Patton, and it was a summary of several briefings he held.

No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country

5. The one about "shovelling shit in Lousiana" is classic. |

Don't remember exactly how it goes but I thought it was during the opening speech in front of the giant flag.
“When your children ask you ‘Daddy, what did you do in the great World War Two?’ you won’t have to say ‘I shoveled shit in Louisiana’.”.
