Jerry Manuel and Mike Hargrove fired
Manuel, Hargrove Out

That didn't take long. Two teams are looking for new managers today after the White Sox fired Jerry Manuel and the Orioles got rid of Mike Hargrove. Manuel was 500-471 in six seasons; Hargrove went 275-372 in four years in Baltimore.

2. I'm an Orioles Fan....
and to be fair it was not Hargrove's fault that the Orioles had another bad season. The team did not sign any major free agents at the end of last year and their farm system has sucked for the past 10 years....not Hargrove's fault. It's a shame because Grover is a good manager. He was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. It did not matter who would have managed the O's this past season. The Orioles had NO chance to make the playoffs opening day because thewir owner did not shell out the big bucks that it usually takes to make the playoffs in baseball.

7. Fuck!
Hargrove did an amazing job as manager to go at that clip with the teams that the front office kept giving him. I am sad to see him go.

I can't think of anybody that they could bring in who could do a better job than Grover.

So much for that hope for next year
