I just took an Ambien and I know I am going to fall asleep soon
but now all of a sudden my 9 mo doggie, Mimic, is full of energy and getting into everything. She just stood in the bathroom and barked at the toilet for 10 minutes straight, then she unrolled a whole roll of toilet paper. Now she is running around the house barking.

What should I do?

1. Doesn't matter
you're going to be asleep.

Just be ready for a bunch of clean up in the morning

8. Ambien is a wonderful sleeping pill imho. I had to use it for insomnia
a while back and it worked great. You go right to sleep, sleep through the night, and do not wake up with that hung-over feeling. I believe it is like a hypnotic.

My doggie might not survive even a small amount so I'm just going to have to shut her in the room with me and take my chances.

:boring:

5. I might wake up missing some fingers. She loves to chew on my
hands. I have a bunch of toys and chew things, but she prefers my hands.

9. Yeah, I'm alone too, so that does worry me. From past experience
I know you tend to forget what you do or say after taking it. I only took 1/2 of a 10mg, and can feel it working but a whole one will knock me out quick.

Well, off to bed I will go. Mimic seems to be calming down now so maybe she will cooperate.
