Does anyone own a tapestry or want one?
I'm looking for a tapestry for my living room. The room is pretty in golden, sage, parchment, brown, and a pinch of plum, tones and woods and a deep scarlet floral sofa. I have a bunch of sites bookmarked and some choices narrowed down. I like alot of the William Morris styles, woven, not chenille. Medium size. Any thoughts or recommendations before I move ahead with a purchase?

1. I have a fabulous tapestry
of Kokopeli which was made for me by a Guatamalan village co-op some years ago for a ridiculously low price (they wouldn't accept more). There are some really neat items out there that can support indigenous peoples, if you're into that. OTOH, I really like that Tree of Life one in your OP.

2. Thanks. That gives me a new idea.
I'll look for others, but I don' tknow if I can get the style I want. I'll check. I have to order online, though.

3. I have a tapestry I got while in England
It's Indian. It's a scene of a family of deer drinking at the edge of a pond. Lush colors, a lot of dark greens and browns. It's about 6' long by 4' high. There are blue fringes on each side.

I've had it since 1975.
