4. I'm at the itchy peeling stage now, it's not fun but not horrible.
It burned going on but it is self neutralizing so by 5 minutes it had pretty much stopped that by then. First day wasn't much of anything but 2nd it got red and started some itching, 3rd and 4th have been the itchiest. They instruct you to use anti-itch ointment all over your face and that helps.

I'm starting to see some new skin on parts of my face but my forehead is still pretty tight and itchy.

It was a home kit, for $45 you get enough for 3 peels. They say after you do three about 3 weeks apart you see the best results.

14. Pretty much....I've had some redness but I don't think it's too freaky
I made sure I planned it for a week I didn't have any major plans.

19. My goals are.....
Even out the surfaces of my skin. As I've gotten older I find some of the dry patches get dryer and my complexion just looks more dull. I don't wear makeup often, but when I do, the application can look spotty from various areas of my face being different. I also have small bumps that surface and just don't go away. The dermatologist says they are just part of aging - depending on your genes. I've spot peeled them before but decided to do the all over to just refresh my entire complexion - try to even things out a bit.

I don't have a problem with wrinkles so I can't see myself doing botox or anything directed at them, this is just a low level step to brighten up my face.

13. My dermatologist was trying to talk me into one of those
He said that under his little blue light machine, I showed some areas that may turn in to cancer later. I'm not really sure I want to let him do it, however. Just the thought of acid all over my face scares me.

Yep, that's right, I'm a weenie. :P

15. The application wasn't horrible, it burned some
but it wasn't unbearable for me. I didn't do mine for wrinkles, but for bumps I've been getting here and there just from aging. I had done some spot treatments but decided I would go ahead and do the full face to freshen up my complexion. At almost 48 it has had a tendency to be dull sometimes. I've used Retiin A for it but decided to go a step further this time.

21. perhaps those bumps were chiggers
I recall an old boyfriend of mine asking me to put nailpolish on all the bumps on his back and legs...to suffocate the little buggers..
