I'm paying the Provincial Gov't an extra $765--ask me anything! |

Yes, I missed a filing deadline by two months, for a corporate annual report. The regular report fee is $35. Because I missed the deadline, that amount climbs to a one-time adminstration fee of $800!
WTF?!
It makes it pretty damn difficult to be a Socialist these days, when i just know the money isn't going to be used for any particular good.
:grr:
on edit: who knew there'd be math involved?! Amount in headline adjusted to reflect "conventional" accounting.

3. Oh, and I should add... |
|
...that the fee is so high because the revised paperwork has to be approved by none other than a full-blown Supreme Court Justice.
HAVE THEY NOT GO ANYTHING BETTER TO DO? Like, say, prosecuting criminals?

Like the fact that you are late implies some nefarious plot on your part? Strange...

Why is someone with the status (and, I'm sure, considerable cost to the Gov't's payroll) of a Supreme Court Judge pushing small-business paperwork?
(shakes head). Meanwhile, Mrs. Amok had to wait two years for a trial date when she had her purse stolen. Becuse the Judges' caseloads were at an all-time high.

On the other hand, your country's head of state is not a lieing, warmongering imbecile, so you've got that going for you.
