2. The criteria used are rather strange
So I wouldn't take it too literally. Especially with Milwaukee amongst the "fittest".

It is going to take me a year, at least, to get back to that sort of shape.

8. It is also the best "cooking" beer I have ever used
It amazes me that I can walk into any supermarket, and for the price of a sixpack of mass-produced American swill-beer, I can buy something so incredibly tasty.

so i don't usually look at the side of the menu but i'll have to check it out now, that sounds like something my daughter would really enjoy. And really, anything with brie can't be bad.

32. One of the GREATEST things about Texas
I remember my on first trip to Goode Co., I was waiting in line to be served and before you get to the food line there is a long BEER TROUGH. Not just so you can get your drink, but so you can begin enjoying Shiner Bock while you're WAITING IN LINE! At that moment I understood the old song that said, "If Heaven ain't a lot like Texas, I don't want to go."

Then I bit into the jalapeno cheese bread and heard angels singing.

i was amazed by the number of restraints there. Houston at one time not too long ago was the most going out to dinner city in the country.

12. Houston has some really good restaurants
My husband and I were talking about this the other day. You can get any type of food that you want there, and it's all good and all fattening. I live outside of Seattle now, and I lost 5 pounds just by moving here, without changing anything except eating out less. There just aren't as many appetizing choices.

We in Atlanta are very rotund. This is a fat city. Go to Europe and then come home. Boy are we fat. I was in europe and my plane was full of fat people. Look at the portions we have at our restaurants.

14. That's because your food is so damn good
I went to Atlanta a couple of times in the 90s. Tex/mex at the Sundowner, italian at Rocky's, BBQ at some place on the immediate west side that my brother took us to, pizza in Avondale, lunch at the Farmer's Market-everything was so good. And the Varsity, I wouldn't want to forget them.

We in Detroit are the fattest. Our food is pretty good, too, although we don't really get much attention for that.

28. Ohh, I found another article about this.
Houston also has the most fast-food eateries per capita in the nation!

<snip>
Houston, says Editor in Chief Neal Boulton, has the most fast-food eateries per capita in the nation. Houston workers also have extraordinarily long commutes. Combine the two and you have a recipe for rotund urban sprawl.

I'm close, but not quite in Houston.

They actually base this on how many fast food restaurants and gyms are in the city per capita.
