Is It Just Me, Or Does "K-Street" Really Suck?
I'm just not feeling it.

Phoney lobbyists discussing phoney issues with real politicians and newspeople just isn't my idea of entertainment.

And I'm as big a political junkie as you can find. Maybe its because I was expecting more politics and less fluff, but this show just isn't grabbing my attention.

"Carnivale" on the other hand, is an amazing show. I've really fallen for this one.

But "K-Street" I'd have to throw in with "The Mind of the Married Man" as HBO shows that are just awful.

Am I wrong?

1. I only saw the first one
I'm not feeling it like I did for Queer Eye but
I think it's novel and hope they put a year's worth
in the can so we can buy a video compilation.

It's a sort of novel historic record.
I don't know how they figure out ratings for HBO viewers...
Does an influx of new viewers tell them something?

2. I thought K Street was hilarious a couple of weeks ago
I liked the episode where Carville and Begala prepped Dean for the debate. I especially liked the part during the debate when Mary Matalin said that you couldn't even tell that James (the addict) had prepped Dean for the debate. Immediately afterwards Dean was asked the question about being from Vermont that has a very small African American population and how he could relate to Blacks. Dean replied that if the percent of African Americans in a state was indicative of one's ability to relate to Blacks then Trent Lott would be Martin Luther King. The camera cuts to Mary Matalin with an absolutely horrified/mortified look on her face! There was absolutely no doubt in Matalin's mind that Dean had been prepped by Carville. It was priceless!
