20. I think, difficult though I know it is, try to not to show oneself

as having taken an attack personally. The man who can effectively parry an aggressive attack by responding AS IF the person had simply asked a question or made an innocent comment is someone whose effectiveness is greatly increased. His feelings WILL be hurt when people attack him, and he WILL need to find a way to release those hurt feelings. But the good politician is one who can exercise some control over his/her emotions while STILL being authentic.

Those are my thoughts, anyways. Not perfect, but trying to help.
