Poll question: WHich of these time periods would you rather live in?
The Nixon-1970's or the Bush-2000's? Which one's better.

3. Do we have a youngin' here? This may come as a surprise...
But apparently, I was doomed to live in both. My answer? They're remarkably the same, but Dick had better "numbers" going into his second term. I know. Hard to imagine.

4. Bush-2000s
And it doesn't have anything to do with Bush or Nixon. There is one big reason that I would rather be living through the Bush years: the improvement in psychiatric drugs. Thanks to the modern psychiatric drugs I can live a healthy, independent lifestyle despite having a severe mental illness.

9. I don't have any problems in that department
I do not suffer any side affect from my usage of psychiatric drugs.

Have you ever heard of the little cartoon dog named "Droopy?" Look him up on the internet. That's where I take my name from.

5. Hmmm
70's - Better drugs, better sex and better music. Way worse fashion.

2000 - Way more toys to play with, but the whole perpetual war thing sucks.

I'll take the 70's.

8. Nixon was a lying crook
guilty of a third rate burglary and had to content with checks and balances and a non complicit media. He at least had the decency to start the EPA.

** has trashed our economy, our global status, our environment,
killed probably hundreds of thousands, poisoned even more through an illegal intractable war based on totally bogus intelligence (aka lies and stupidity).

No frigging comparison.
