6. What Is Cyberstalking?
http://www.cyberguards.com/CyberStalking.html
From the U.S. Department of Justice

Although there is no universally accepted definition of cyberstalking, the term is used in this report to refer to the use of the Internet, e-mail, or other electronic communications devices to stalk another person. Stalking generally involves harassing or threatening behavior that an individual engages in repeatedly, such as following a person, appearing at a person's home or place of business, making harassing phone calls, leaving written messages or objects, or vandalizing a person's property. Most stalking laws require that the perpetrator make a credible threat of violence against the victim; others include threats against the victim's immediate family; and still others require only that the alleged stalker's course of conduct constitute an implied threat. While some conduct involving annoying or menacing behavior might fall short of illegal stalking, such behavior may be a prelude to stalking and violence and should be treated seriously.

11. S'ok...
I'm just not very familiar with stalking, I guess. I figure if they don't want anything to do with me I'm not going to get anything out of the relationship either. What fun is there in terrorizing or annoying someone? (besides my sister, of course)

And who has nekkid pictures of themselves on their computer?

7. Why do people think that song is romantic?
There was another song in the 60's by Uria Heep that was the same.
the last part went something like "All through your life, every day and every night, you should know that I'll be watching you". These are not romantic songs.

10. I feel that way about Blondie's "One Way or Another".
If a man had sung it, hey'd have been decryed as a stalker/misogynist/etc...

One way or another I'm gonna find ya
I'm gonna getcha getcha getcha getcha
One way or another I'm gonna win ya
I'm gonna getcha getcha getcha getcha
One way or another I'm gonna see ya
I'm gonna meetcha meetcha meetcha meetcha
One day, maybe next week
I'm gonna meetcha, I'm gonna meetcha, I'll meetcha
I will drive past your house
And if the lights are all down
I'll see who's around

One way or another I'm gonna find ya
I'm gonna getcha getcha getcha getcha
One way or another I'm gonna win ya
I'll getcha, I'll getcha
One way or another I'm gonna see ya
I'm gonna meetcha meetcha meetcha meetcha
One day, maybe next week
I'm gonna meetcha, I'll meetcha

And if the lights are all out
I'll follow your bus downtown
See who's hanging out

One way or another I'm gonna lose ya
I'm gonna give you the slip, a slip of the lip or another
I'm gonna lose ya, I'm gonna trick ya
One way or another I'm gonna lose ya
I'm gonna trick ya trick ya trick ya trick ya
One way or another I'm gonna lose ya
I'm gonna give you the slip

I'll walk down the mall
Stand over by the wall
Where I can see it all
Find out who ya call
Lead you to the supermarket checkout
Some specials and rat food, get lost in the crowd

One way or another I'm gonna getcha, I'll getcha, I'll getcha getcha getcha getcha
(Where I can see it all, find out who ya call)
One way or another I'm gonna getcha, I'll getcha, I'll getcha getcha getcha getcha
(Where I can see it all, find out who ya call)
One way or another I'm gonna getcha, I'll getcha, I'll getcha getcha getcha getcha
(Where I can see it all, find out who ya call)

12. That is the mystery of romantic feelings.
Edited on Sat Jan-08-05 08:34 PM by tjdee
Sometimes romantic feelings can be frightening. When a romantic relationship ends, sometimes someone is very upset about it. I always took "Every Breath You Take" in that vein...that he will be watching her from afar because he loves her/is obsessed/whatever. I think that is one of the greatest songs ever written. but if it were Woody Allen singing it, I'd be :scared: .

And some people think the idea of the one they love always being with them, watching over them forever, is sweet (not for that song though, he clearly indicates she has left him).

That's the mystery of romance. One day a guy waiting on your step is sweet, six months later it could be stalking you.
