Anyone else's cat freaked out by a Slinky.
I gave my stepson a Slinky for Christmas (you know, the spring-like toy that walks down stairs, alone or in pairs, and makes a slinkity sound)

Anyway, I've discovered that when I hold the two ends of the Slinky in each hand and "slink" it back and forth (like you do), it makes my cat wretch, like she's choking up a hairball.

I thought it was just a coincidence, but she does it every time. She seems to be physically impacted by it, like just watching it happen makes her nauseous. I've actually put it away so as not to freak her out anymore.

Anyone else ever notice this phenomenon?

1. I'm gonna have to try that out on my dogs. I'm tired of playing
vacuum cleaner with them.
