2. Surprise you have not been branded as an infidel yet.
The Packers are the most popular religion in WI.

3. You're a girl, for one.
So that may have a tiny bit to do with it... otherwise, what are you...some kind of pinko commie to not enjoy the great national pasttime?

Should you be investigated?

Think about that. ;)

4. In Wisconsin most of the women really love football
I am originally from Illinois where most women "fake" football for the sake of the men in their lives.

In WI they paint their homes Green and Yellow; never saw an orange and blue house in IL.

5. In Texas a lot of women love the Cowboys too.
My friend I used to work with at IBM told me whenever the Cowboys would win she was in such a good mood that he would score at home too.

10. i have never seen a blue and orange
house in illinois either, esp here in northern illinois. if you travel the back roads from illinois to wisconsin you can tell the state line by the green bay packer signs on the houses,cars/trucks,and mailboxes.

7. Don't feel too bad
My wife grew up just a few miles south of Green Bay and is not really all that interested in football. One the other hand, when she does on occasion watch the Packers (mostly just during the playoffs), she always roots for them.

8. Oh, the shame. After the Super Bowl, Packer services will be
for the year. Give me that old time 5-6 month religious season.

9. This aftenoon the streets will be dead quiet during game time
If I went to the mall or a movie, I'd have the place to myself. Actually I've heard game scores announced in department stores. It's MORE than religion in Wisconsin.

11. I live in Wisconsin and like them but am a Life long Viking
I like them because they are a democratic team. People have part ownership and are therefore not under complete corporate control or by one rich owner.

It's not a bad obsession and they really believe when they lose they'll be back and often are. they have a tradition of success that I envy and when they win they don't go insane, only insanely happy.
