1. I saw it
It was slow but not bad. If I had to do it again, I'd probably wait for video. It's basically about this guy who is depressed because his wife left him, his buddy is getting married and they decide to head out on an "adventure." The movie is mostly about the depressed guys obsession with wine.

2. It is REALLY good
Check it out. It starts off a little wacky but sucks you in...if you lived in Cali, it's even more fun.

I'd see it again.

3. I saw it.
I originally didn't want to. The write ups made it seem terribly boring and pointless. It's an enjoyable movie. It's a buddy flick, one engaged guy on a mission to, um, sow his oats, and one guy's need to get over his ex, by further obsessing about wine.

Picture "City Slickers" without the comedy, taking place in Napa Valley...sort of, and that's the vibe from this movie.

It's worth $7.50, IMO.

6. The story actually takes place
in the Santa Barbara area wine country.

It is a wonderful film!

7. Do not miss "Beyond the Sea", re Bobby Darin.
It includes the little known portion of his life where he isolated himself living in a trailer on the California coast, as well as his political support of Bobby Kennedy and his protest songs against the Vietnam War. This film is a work from the heart by Director/actor Kevin Spacey and he did a creative and very entertaining, sort of out-on-a limb job. He was nominated for a Golden Globe/best actor for his role.

8. I liked it...but if you have any doubt... wait for the rental
I laughed at a lot of it and it many of us will see parts of ourselves in it.

The rest of the audience seemed to enjoy it too - lots of deep belly laughs.
