I bought a 5X8 cargo trailer today. Why?

I'm shuttling back and forth between Dallas and Rosman, NC (980 miles). We decided that until we sell the Dallas house, I would rent U-Hauls and take stuff to NC each trip. U-Haul wanted $362/5-day rental on that sized trailed. Plus about $40/day overage. I would have to pick up the U-Haul, pack like crazy and drive like crazy, all to make it in their timeframe.

There was one 5X8 available in Dallas. The next closest was Shreveport. None on the used market. The 5X8 is the most popular cargo trailer, I am told.

Oh, on edit, it cost me $1295. It will be paid for in 3.5 trips (not counting the decrease in the ultimate move poundage).
