I think this might be a sign you are on DU too much:
I had a dream last night that all Democrats/liberals/Greens, etc (basically anyone but fundies and hard core right wingers) were rounded up into "camps." It didn't seem as bad as the camps during the Holocaust, no one that I could see was killed, but the men were separated from the women and we were becoming thin, weak, ill.

In the dream, my husband found a way to sneak to the woman's camp and tell me the men had a black market radio and were listening to a liberal guy broadcast from some unknown location on some weak frequency and it wasn't propaganda like the rest of the station. He found out that Mexico had invaded from the south, Canada from the north, and the EU was emboldened by that and decided to attack the US for the purpose of overthrowing bush. In my dream I got the sense that bushco had finally done something that was the straw that broke the camel's back for the rest of the world, though I don't know what that action was.

He said the EU was going to set up a provisional government here and that the entire bush administration and family had gone into hiding, on fear of death.

At that point in the dream, I remember feeling hopeful that we would be released soon and I went back to tell the other women.

Then I woke up. TIME FOR A BREAK FROM THE NEWS, EH?

2. that's right out of a futuristic movie script
Maybe that you should write it and give it to some producer at Hollywood. Hey, the best ideas start with dreams!

4. You know how a dream can seem REALLY real when you are having it?
That's how this one was. Sometimes I kinda know I'm dreaming, but not this time. It was completely chilling.

I should write it up in more detail.

11. I've read the Handmaid's Tale
and this dream didn't resemble it much at all. Didn't even have the same feel. More like a futuristic Holocaust. :scared:

And WWIII. :scared:

It took me about an hour to shake off the willies from it when I woke up.

10. I'm not usually, no.
I think I just have an overactive imagination that doesn't know how to shut itself off at night.

Seriously. 'Cept I'm a guy, so it came from a distant perspective. Also, it was OBL and the Nazis who invaded, so we were screwed no matter what.

15.  I had a dream several nights ago where I was running down the street
desperately trying to tell everyone I saw that "George Bush is a fascist theocrat!" but no one would listen. The dream ended when I sat straight up in bed, awakening myself by vehemently stating "George Bush is a fascist theocrat!!!"

Dr. Bouncy Ball, is this a sign that I am on DU too much?
