1. I caught part of it.
When they talked about dogs being able to detect cancer cells. My brother has cancer, so this interests me.

But how would they handle diagnoses? Bring in a dog and have him sniff you?

2. Caught that part too
and was interested for similar reasons.

I too think it would be a very unortodox was of determining if one may have cancer. Maybe this would enlightening us for some at-home testing with our dogs. I don't know. It's amazing how the dogs could do it though.

5. Gives "Lab Work" a whole new meaning...
Too bad they didn't train cats to do that so you could get a REAL "Cat Scan"..
That was amazing. Especially the part where the dogs diagnosed one of the controls.

7. I watched the whole thing, thanks to these comments
I thought all the segments were interesting. I had read about the dogs sniffing cancer, but it was still interesting. I had never heard of that Chinese pianist. I would love to be a musician.

Thanks for everyone's input. Back to work now!

8. My neighbour's dog knew I had cancer
Edited on Sun Jan-09-05 11:30 PM by miss_kitty
Gorgeous Golden lab, obedience school trained. She had two friends she could not get him away from. He used to just glue his nose to me, even though Lisa would tell him "Off". This dog behaved in every other way. Lisa said "You know, he's this way with Susan too." We both had cancer. When my cancer was gone, so was her dog's aberrant behaviour.
