If you use Firefox, try this
open firefox 1.0 and type about:config in the address bar

1. Find network.http.pipelining and double click on it so it = true
2. Find network.http.pipelining.maxrequests doule click on it and change it from 4 to 8

You won't have any problem with slow load times anymore!

4. There is an additional step
the geek sight says

All you've got to do is type "about:config" into your address bar, wait for it to load, then alter the following entries: change "network.http.pipelining" to "true", "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true" and lastly "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to 30, meaning it will be able to make 30 requests at once.

Don't bother if you're one of the unlucky sods still without broadband, but if you are, then give it a shot. Thanks to forevergeek.com!

5. What do those settings do exactly?
I tried them because I know ButterflyBlood is a good DUer  and they seem to have made an improvement.

Is there a downside to these settings? If not, how come they're not standard?

6. The networks have upgraded their processors
They have just finished testing the upgrade and have hooked it up to the system. This is brand new, just days old.

Expect to see soon software releases to standard programs which will access the multiple processing and switches.
