Remember back when on B&W TV they could use chocolate syrup for blood?
Like, the actor would have a capsule full of chocolate syrup in his mouth and bite it and let it drool out when he got shot. Oh, no. Not any more. Now, everything is in color. What do they use?

Ketchup? Red dye No. 13?
