Do you have to stick your feet
out of the covers sometimes when you sleep?

1. Sometimes. I prefer the cold, but have to play blast furnace
for the wife, so she doesn't appreciate it much :)

3. So you stay covered up and just poke the feet out?
Like off the bed or do you twist them around the comforter so you're still covered but the feet are on top?

6. No way!
I used to have to keep my arms out of the covers, but now I tend to wrap myself up like a big burrito-head and all.

I like to be cozy, and my footsies get cold! :)

7. And let the "under the bed monster" get my toes?
Would you sleep with your arm hanging off the bed too?

When I'm awake I know there's no monster.

9. I thought I was the only one.
I also have to ALWAYS be covered by at least a sheet, up to my chest. Yeah, that's gooooooood UTB Monster protection.

8. My feet are my thermoregulation. In and out all night long.
That's why I hate sleeping bags.

11. No - just one foot - I know it's weird, but Rich Hall
actually had a sniglet for it: "pedairation" -- I can't recall the exact definition, but it had something to do with acheiving balance of warmth and coolness.

13. Why does that work?
I have never understood that. Yes I do it but I still have no idea why that makes it feel a little cooler.

16. No. We keep the thermostat very low at night and my feet get cold.
I like to sleep with socks on in the winter. In the summer I have the opposite problem - my feet get too warm! I still like to have them covered with a sheet, though.

18. Most of the time yes
unless it gets cold in the house, and then I pull them in under the covers.
