I think I'm addicted to Vietnamese Pho soup

I've bought it every other day for the last two weeks. I really think there's something about it that's addictive.. Or maybe my body just likes it because it's so full of goodness. If you haven't tried it, do yourself a favor, run out and get some. It only costs $5.00 for two meals worth. I also just transplanted some of the beautiful basil they give as a garnish. Bonus!

My dogs dig it too. When I get it carry out I save some of the broth and pour it over their kibble. The go completely bonkers for it! If you have a finicky dog, give it a shot.

3. Nope, it's rice noodles, beef and bean sprouts

with about half a dozen other do-it-yourself garnishes in a slow cooked beef broth. It's kind of hard to describe in words, you just have to try it.

7. it's not. Pho is a beef based brothy noodle soup.

I LOVE brothy noodle soups. yummmmmmm.

pork chops yesterday at a hole in a wall VietNamese place. I always wear my VietNam Veteran's cap and I get terrific service there. (I tip big, too!)

Makes a hell of a lot more sense when you pronounce it correctly too :)

I still have a few restaurants to check out in town, but it's hard to imagine anything can be much better than what I've already had.
