14. OK you lost me there.
"humpy" means "hot" around here.
BTW, did you get to see Sargent's "Madame X"? I love that painting-and the story of its subject would make a hell of a movie.

19. Hard to miss
19th century painting-black haired woman standing in a low-cut Burgundy gown, face in profile. Her real name was Victorine Garborieau, she was the daughter of a New Orleans banker and was considered to be the most beautiful woman in Europe. The painting caused a scandal a when first shown for its frank sensuality and she was instantly notorious. She held forth in the beau monde until one day at a cafe in Nice she overheard someone in a nearby table say she looked "worn." Right there, she left the cafe, checked out of her hotel, rented a sealed private train and went off to her country house by the beach in Normandy, where she dies decades later. She only ever left the house to walk her dogs on the beach-at night. True story.

17. Hes also a complete dick of a performer...
in college we drove 7 hours to see him, he sang for 45 minutes then took off with some cute boy who was probably underage, but was sitting in the front row!

his songs basically all have the same whiney tone as well... its okay to sing about being suicidal, it gets you lots of attention! I wish Robert Smith would have kicked his ass in the 80s!!

LOL... but yeah he's cute and so are you, toots!
